TLC’s new nighttime drama Too Close to Home is the creation of Tyler Perry. It’s a hot and steamy show set in Washington, D.C. Anna is the protagonist. She leaves her modest beginnings in Alabama and heads to the nation’s capital to launch her political career. In the sneak peek preview, Anna finds herself in the Oval Office making out with the POTUS.

Anna is portrayed by Danielle Savre. The 27-year-old actress (from Simi Valley, CA) is known for her roles on Heroes (Jackie Wilcox) with Hayden Panettiere, Summerland (Callie) and Grounded for Life (Courtney). Savre is also recognized for her roles in the films Boogeyman 2 (Laura Porter), Bring It: All or Nothing (Brianna), and Jarhead 2: Field of Fire (Dani), among others. Too Close to Home premieres Monday, August 22 at 9pm on TLC.
