Actress Kristen Stewart (The Twilight Saga, The Runaways, Snow White and the Huntsman) is starring in the new Woody Allen romcom, Café Society set in 1930s Hollywood. She plays Vonnie, a movie studio secretary, opposite Jesse Eisenberg and Steve Carell. While promoting the film on Good Morning America, former NFL quarterback turned GMA interviewer Jesse Palmer compared Stewart’s performance to Audrey Hepburn. “And you’re just killing it,” he says.
Stewart said she had to audition for the part. “Woody said ‘as long as you don’t walk like a sailor…’” Café Society will be in theaters July 15. Stewart will talk more about her experience working with Allen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on July 11 at 11:30pm on NBC.
