The second night of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland will focus on the economy. Speakers slated include Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell and Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.); and two of Donald Trump’s children — Donald Trump Jr. and Tiffany Trump.
Tiffany Trump is the daughter of Marla Maples, the Broadway actress (The Will Rogers Follies) who Donald Trump had an affair with while married to his first wife Ivana Trump. Two months after Tiffany was born, in December 1993, Donald and Marla got married. Guests included Rosie O’Donnell and O.J. Simpson, among others. Donald and Marla divorced in 1999. One year later Maples wrote a memoir, All That Glitters Is Not Gold, but her publisher, ReganBooks, announced that both parties (author and publisher) decided not to publish the book. Maples recently appeared on Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars.
