In Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens, five years have passed since Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!. Fin (Ian Ziering) has had his fill of Sharknados. He’s enjoying a quiet simple life on a farm with his son until he’s invited to Las Vegas to have a little fun. Little does he know, it’s the site of the next giant Sharknado. April (Tara Reid), who was presumed dead at the end of Sharknado 3, shows up in Vegas. She’s not only alive but now she’s bionic…thanks to her father, Wilford Wexler.

Wexler is portrayed by Gary Busey. He’s known for a lot of things including his roles in the films Predator 2 (Peter Keyes), Point Break (FBI agent Pappas), Lethal Weapon (assassin Joshua), and The Buddy Holly Story (Charles Hardin “Buddy” Holly), among others. In September 2015, he recently competed on Dancing with the Stars. Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens premieres July 31 at 8pm on Syfy.
