Just days before the Republican National Convention kicked off in Cleveland, Donald Trump’s second ex-wife, Marla Maples, posted photos of her hanging out with the Broadway cast of Hamilton. Front and center is a photo of Maples with Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. She made sure to get tickets before Miranda left the show. She didn’t just meet Miranda backstage, as Maples wrote, “I found myself w/Luz & Luis Miranda…sharing in the Light of their son’s final performance!”
Miranda is a well-known supporter of Donald Trump’s rival Hillary Clinton. Miranda’s recent video, where he asks, “Are you going to vote for the guy who wants to build a wall or for someone who’s building bridges?” went viral (see below). With Maples’ Hamilton photo montage, she wrote: “Hold true to your dreams.”
