Britney Spears has more gears, it turns out. Not only has she been rolling the dice with aplomb in her smash hit Las Vegas shows, the pop princess can still deliver a chart wallop, too. When Spears first hit the scene there was no iTunes or Spotify to dominate. But her new single “Make Me” just ousted her former boyfriend — and fellow Mickey Mouse Club member — Justin Timberlake from the top spot on iTunes.
Spears new release, ft. G-Eazy, turned JT into a runner-up in no time, putting his “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” down at #2.
This is an incredible feeling. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! ❤️ #MakeMe https://t.co/CFC5aH25ao
