On the Bar Rescue episode ‘Raising Arizona’, Jon Taffer visits the small town of Coolidge, Arizona. The owner of The Gallopin Goose Saloon, Scott Wohrman, is struggling to make ends meet. The bar has a rich history dating back to the 1930s as a place for country musicians to perform, but those days are over. Everything went downhill when Scott started drinking heavily and had an affair with a customer who became pregnant with his child. Scott lost his wife Stacey, his family (she took their two kids and moved to California), and his reputation. It’s a small town.
According to Spike TV, Stacey is raising Scott’s child from the affair “as her own.” In 2013, Stacey gave Scott another chance to be near his kids. She moved back to Arizona with the kids but has been disappointed with Scott’s motivation to get the bar business back in the black. They are facing $370,000 in debt and The Gallopin Goose Saloon is losing $2000 a month. Stacey’s the one who called Jon Taffer for help. Bar Rescue airs Sundays at 9pm on Spike.
