The 1996 cult classic film Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? starred 90210 star Tori Spelling. She played a young woman whose boyfriend Kevin (Ivan Sergei, NCIS: New Orleans) turns dangerously obsessive. In the 2016 James Franco remake, Spelling plays the mother of college student Leah (Leila George) who brings home her girlfriend Pearl — who turns out to be a dangerous vampire. Needless to say, momma doesn’t approve.
Pearl is portrayed by Emily Meade. The 27-year-old actress is known for her role on The Leftovers (Aimee), and in the films Money Monster with George Clooney and Julia Roberts (Molly), and in the 2011 thriller Trespass with Nicholas Cage and Nicole Kidman (Kendra). Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, June 18 at 8pm.
