In Season 4 of Devious Maids, Zoila Diaz (Judy Reyes) gets a job cleaning the home of a client who’s out of town for six months. While there, she slips into one of her client’s fancy dresses. When young handsome next-door-neighbor Kyle (Ryan McPartlin) stops by, he believes Zoila lives in the home. She doesn’t burst his bubble and sparks fly. So much so that Kyle introduces Zoila to his mother, Frances. “I didn’t know your mother was visiting,” Zoila says to Kyle. She’s not. Kyle lives with his mother, who btw doesn’t approve of their blossoming relationship.
Frances is portrayed by Stephanie Faracy. She’s known for her roles in the films Bad Teacher (Mrs. Pubich), Sideways (Sandra Oh’s mother), Blind Date (Susie Davis), The Great Outdoors (John Candy’s wife Connie Ripley), Hocus Pocus (Jenny), and Heaven Can Wait (Corinne), among others. Faracy is also recognized for her guest roles on several TV shows from Laverne & Shirley to Modern Family. Devious Maids airs Mondays at 9pm on Lifetime.
