Twenty-year-old singer Sal Valentinetti from Long Island, New York will perform during Week 3 of America’s Got Talent auditions for Season 11. Sal makes it clear he didn’t come to AGT just to try out. “I came here to win,” Valentinetti tells the judges. He sounds and looks confident. One week prior to the audition, he posted this:

If Sal looks and sounds familiar, you probably saw him on American Idol in January. On Idol, Valentinetti sang Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon.” Idol judge Harry Connick, Jr. told Valentinetti, “I’ll give you a hundred bucks if you can tell me the real name of that song.” Valentinetti knows his Sinatra. “In Other Words,” he tells Connick who then proceeded to pay Valentinetti the 100 bucks. Fun fact: When not on stage, Valentinetti is studying at St. John’s University. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
