On The Real Housewives of Orange County episode “When the Ship Hits the Fan,” Meghan Edmonds goes out with new wife Kelly Dodd. They go to a place called The Quiet Woman — but Edmonds is far from that. “When Jimmy’s away, I like to get out and play. He can’t expect me to sit home and do nothing.” Meghan is referring to her husband Jimmy Edmonds, former MLB player who now coaches for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Meghan and Kelly became friends a couple of years ago. Meghan says she likes Kelly because she likes to laugh and says what’s on her mind. “She has diarrhea of the mouth,” Meghan says in a complimentary way. Now they’re bonding over Meghan’s IVF experience. Kelly went through it 10 years ago. “Now I have my designer baby,” Kelly says of her daughter Joelle. At the end of their dinner, Meghan invites Kelly to Heather Dubrow’s yacht party. Kelly says yes and suggests that they have extra fun since Meghan’s “days are numbered” — before she gets pregnant and can’t party. Can’t party and busy with baby? — sounds like Kelly means Meghan’s days as an interesting cast member might be numbered too. Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays at 9pm on Bravo.
