Japanese illusionist Hiroki Hara auditioned for Season 11 of America’s Got Talent and received four yesses from the judges – Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel. The performance made Cowell so happy he suggested that Hara move in with him. “Imagine waking up and seeing that every morning,” Cowell said to Klum.
Hara mentioned that he’s from a very small village in Japan called Kitayama. But this is not Hara’s first time in the States. He was one of the six young magicians featured in the documentary Make Believe, which is available on Amazon. Director Clay Tweel followed them to the 2009 Teen World Championship in Las Vegas.
