ElevenPlay is the Japanese dance troupe that performs synchronized routines with lighted drones flying above them. Wearing their signature white nurse-like costumes, ElevenPlay wowed the audience and judges during their audition on America’s Got Talent. Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum stood with applause. Klum said, “I felt like I was on a different planet.” Simon Cowell said the performance was “really smart,” and that he’s “been waiting for something like this” on the show. Mandel voiced his pleasure saying that finally an act has been able to pair geeks and beautiful dancers together.
ElevenPlay performs with a variety of instruments — not just drones. They’ve posted videos of their performances using mapping technology, lasers and iPads among other dynamic visual aids. See video below. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
