In the Person of Interest episode “QSO,” while Samaritan’s agents try to convince a member of the team that their goals are honorable, Root (Amy Acker) goes undercover at a radio station. She’s there to protect Max, the host of a conspiracy theory show who stumbles upon information that puts his life in danger. Reese (Jim Caviezel) provides backup.
Max is portrayed by Scott Adsit. The Second City alum is known for his roles on Veep (Greg) and 30 Rock (Pete Hornberger). Adsit is also recognized for his roles in the films St. Vincent (David), We’re the Millers (Doctor), Arthur (Gummy Bear Man), The Italian Job (Actor Rehearsing in Car), Kicking & Screaming (Stew), and Bad News Bears (as the umpire) with Billy Bob Thornton, among others. Adsit’s voice is also recognized from Big Hero 6 (Baymax). Person of Interest airs Tuesdays at 9pm on CBS.
