In the TV movie Not with My Daughter, Melissa Eco is a high-profile defense attorney for the rich and powerful. In an effort to change her image, she takes on a “charity case” which totally backfires. Not only is her young defendant Greg Milles (Rhys Ward) likely guilty but he’s also seduced Melissa’s daughter Abby (Annie Clark) and is using the girl as a ploy to save his own skin.
Melissa is portrayed by Ally Sheedy. She’s known for being a member of the Brat Pack, starring in films including The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo’s Fire. Sheedy also starred in Bad Boys (Sean Penn’s girlfriend), WarGames with Matthew Broderick, Short Circuit with Steve Guttenberg, Betsy’s Wedding, and the 1998 award-winning film High Art. Fun fact about Sheedy: When 12, she wrote the book She Was Nice to Mice. Not With My Daughter premieres on LMN on May 28 at 10pm. It will air again on May 29 at 2am and June 14 at 12pm.
