In the two-part episode of The Blacklist, “Alexander Kirk,” Red (James Spader) says criminal Alexander Kirk is responsible for the death of Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) and Red seeks revenge at all costs. In order for the task force to get Kirk, they resort to working with Hargrave (Famke Janssen), Rowan (Tawny Cypress), and Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi). “Enemies Unite” would have been another appropriate title for the dual episodes.
Alexander Kirk is portrayed by Ulrich Thomsen. Americans will recognize the Danish actor from his roles on Banshee (Kai Proctor), and in the films Mortdecai (Romanov) and in the 2011 film The Thing (Dr. Sander Halvorson), among others. The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9pm on NBC.
