During Season 10 of The Voice, coach Pharrell Williams has been wearing fashion that’s created a lot of curiosity. One week, Pharrell wore a knitted hat that had the word PLANT stitched boldly on the front. The following week, he swapped that for another knitted hat with the word FLEA on the folded brim. Those two hats, the PLANT and the FLEA, got a lot of attention — 2paragraphs delved into some of the mystery here (PLANT) and here (FLEA). During the Top 10 performances, Pharrell has been wearing a collared zippered jacket with a bones logo – what looks like a long-nosed fox peering over two crossed bones. A helpful reader below points out that it’s from Skateboard brand Bones — and that Pharrell, a skater, used to skate under the moniker Skateboard P.
The Bones logo looks similar to the Billionaire Boys Club’s line, Cones & Bones. Pharrell is a partner in the super chic Billionaire Boys Club company. Then again, it looks a lot like a lot of Halloween costumes, too. Pharrell has only one artist left in the competition (Hannah Huston) — and this is his last season on the show. So expect the fashion-forward marketing master coach to keep wearing the unexpected in front of millions of viewers. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
