On the Season 3 premiere of Hotel Hell, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay visits Island Park, Idaho to rescue Angler’s Lodge. Just 30 minutes from Yellowstone, Angler’s Lodge is located on the banks of Henry’s Fork on the Snake River, a mecca for fishermen that boasts of unlimited trout. In the winter, guests rent cabins and spend the days snowmobiling. Summer rates start at $249/night; winter rates $149.
It sounds like a lovely place but the hotel fell into despair just 10 years after the owners, Dave and Dede Eby, bought the place. After suffering a family tragedy (their 10-year-old son Dalton died from playing the “pass out game” in 2005), Dave and Dede lost their passion for the business. With the help of Ramsay, the Ebys work hard to turn the hotel around. Hotel Hell airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
