In The Middle episode “Crushed,” while Mike and Frankie meet Brick’s girlfriend’s parents, Sue (Eden Sher) develops a big time crush on one of her college professors. She will go to great awkward lengths to get his attention. She’ll even walk through wicker furniture.
Professor Grant is portrayed by Josh Cooke. He’s known for his roles on Longmire (Eamonn O’Neill), Manhattan (Lancefield), Hart of Dixie (Joel Stephens), Dexter (Louis Greene), Issues (Dr. Ted), Better with You (Ben), and Committed (Nate). Cooke is also recognized for his roles in the films I Love You, Man (Alan, the bench press guy), Quarantine 2: Terminal (Henry), and Bachelor Party 2: The Last Temptation (Ron). The Middle airs Wednesdays at 8pm on ABC.
