In the NCIS: New Orleans episode “Second Line,” the team investigates the murder of a Navy lieutenant during a second-line funeral procession, a New Orleans tradition which involves a parade to celebrate the life of the deceased. Dr. Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder) discusses the case with Dr. Steven Bellamy.
Dr. Steven Bellamy is Gary Basaraba. He’s appeared on dozens of TV shows from Miami Vice, Boomtown (Officer Ray Hechler) and Brooklyn South (Sgt. Santoro) to Judging Amy (Brian Whitaker) and Mad Men (Herb Rennet). Basaraba is also recognized for his roles in the films Fried Green Tomatoes (Grady Kilgore), The Last Temptation of Christ (Andrew, Apostle), No Mercy (Joe Collins), and The Smurfs (Hefty), among others.
