In the Dr. Ken episode “Korean Men’s Club,” Allison (Suzy Nakamura) urges her husband Ken (Ken Jeong) to join a community group, the Korean Men’s Club. Ken reluctantly joins the club, where he meets the club’s straight-laced leader Gary Chon. Turns out Gary knows how to have a good time after all.
Gary Chon is portrayed by Randall Park. Park is known for his roles on Fresh off the Boat (Louis Huang), Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (Jeff), Veep (Danny Chung), The Mindy Project (Dr. Colin Lee), and MADtv (Bobby’s cousin), among others. Parks is also recognized for his roles in the films Trainwreck (Bryson) and The Interview (President Kim). Dr. Ken airs Fridays at 8:30pm on ABC.
