In the New Girl episode “300 Feet,” while Jess (Zooey Deschanel) tries to clear her name after her ex-boyfriend Sam (David Walton) serves her a restraining order, Nick (Jake Johnson) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) plot against the new trendy bar, Presh, which opened on their street. The plot involves their new (attractive) rival, owner of Presh, Connie.
Connie is portrayed by Busy Philipps. She’s known for her roles on Vice Principals (Gale Liptrapp), Cougar Town (Laruie Keller), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Kacy Corbin), ER (Hope Bobeck), Dawson’s Creek (Audrey Liddell), and Freaks and Geeks (Kim Kelly), among others. Philipps is also recognized for her roles in the films The Gift (Duffy), White Chicks (Karen), and Made of Honor (Melissa). She occasionally stars in ads for Loft, too. (See below.)
