The 31st annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony will include the induction of Cheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple, Steve Miller, N.W.A., and songwriter and record producer Bert Berns. Chicago – the “rock and roll band with horns” — has been around since 1967. The band’s original drummer Danny Seraphine was dismissed in 1990. Although he was replaced by Chicago’s current drummer Tris Imboden, who was Kenny Loggins’ longtime drummer, Seraphine will be present at the Hall of Fame ceremony and will let his opinion of “the establishment” be heard. According to Kid Rock, who inducted Cheap Trick, Seraphine is “a fucking badass” because Seraphine said at the ceremony, “Fuck the establishment! I’ll do what I want.”

While former Chicago lead singer Peter Cetera won’t be there, Seraphine said: “It would be great to have an ongoing relationship with my former bandmates as friends. I’m not 100 percent sure it’s possible. There’s a lot of water under the bridge, but I personally am going in with an open heart.” The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony wil lbe televised on April 30 at 8pm on HBO.
