In The Grinder episode “From the Ashes,” while Stewart (Fred Savage) tries to turn his brother Dean (Rob Lowe) back into “The Grinder,” Dean announces that he’s going to attend law school. Part of Stewart’s plan involves Devin Stutz, one of Dean’s love interests on his old TV show The Grinder.
