There are only five contestants left on the fifteenth and final season of American Idol — Sonika Vaid, La’Porsha Renae, Trent Harmon, Mackenzie Bourg, and Dalton Rapattoni. All five have been mentored by superstar performer Sia, who will perform on the show on March 24 (8pm, FOX).
Sia is clearly a fan of La’Porsha. After La’Porsha sang the Rihanna song “Diamonds” which was written by Sia, Sia wrote: “Wow, you killed it. I better write some more songs for you!” Sia isn’t the only American Idol to root for La’Porsha — guest judge and original American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson thinks La’Porsha has this competition in the bag. American Idol airs Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
