Ever since Phaedra Parks’ husband Apollo Nida was convicted on several counts of fraud and was sentenced to eight years in prison, her relationship with Kandi Burruss has been strained. Phaedra has made it clear to Kandi that she didn’t think Kandi was being very supportive during Phaedra’s trying time, right before Apollo reported to jail. Kandi told Phaedra she had a lot on her plate including her failed musical and her failed attempts to get pregnant. (Kandi has since had a baby.)
Since that awkward conversation, the Feds have been to Kandi’s house in search of assets owned by Apollo, who owes a lot of money in restitution. Kandi’s husband Todd Tucker agreed to store one of Apollo’s motorcycles and a four-wheeler. The Feds also visited the home of Cynthia Bailey and her husband Peter Thomas. Phaedra is told all of this by Porsha Williams who also tells Phaedra that Kandi wonders if Phaedra called the Feds, which Phaedra dismisses right away with a “Bye.” After a pregnant pause, Phaedra says aloud: “Wonder what she [Kandi] would think if I had some of Todd’s stuff.” Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo.
