Who Is Wife Sonia In ‘Pregnant at 17’ Lifetime Movie?

In the TV movie Pregnant at 17, when Sonia finds out that her husband of 10 years Jeff (Roark Critchlow) has been sleeping with another woman, she doesn’t get mad or even. No, Sonia — who’s been dealing with post-miscarriage depression — decides to befriend the young woman, Chelsea (Zoé De Grand Maison), who it turns out is 17 and pregnant. When Jeff finds out Chelsea is pregnant, he bails. And when a threatening young man from Chelsea’s past surfaces, it’s Sonia who protects Chelsea.

Sonia is portrayed by Josie Bissett. She’s best known for her roles on The Secret Life of the American Teenager (Kathleen Bowman) and Melrose Place (Jane Mancini). Fun fact about Bissett: In the 1991 film The Doors, she played guitarist Robby Krieger’s girlfriend. Pregnant at 17 will premiere on Lifetime on February 20 at 8pm. It will air again on February 21 at 12am and 8pm, and February 22 at 12am.
