On the Madam Secretary episode “Left of the Boom,” Elizabeth McCord (Téa Leoni) has many fires to put out. While trying to seal an arms deal in Saudi Arabia, she’s also dealing with the aftermath of a uranium heist in Eastern Europe. And then there’s the detainment of two American teenage girls who intended to join a terrorist group which needs her attention. Along the way, Madam Secretary meets Walter Nowack.
Nowack is portrayed by Rene Auberjonois. The veteran actor is known for many roles including Boston Legal (Paul Lewiston), Judging Amy (Judge Jackson Keeler), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (Odo), and Benson (Clayton Runnymede Endicott III), among several others including MASH, Mod Squad, The Jeffersons. Auberjonois is also a prolific voice actor (e.g. Chef Louie in The Little Mermaid). Madam Secretary airs Sundays at 8pm on CBS.
