On The Mysteries of Laura episode “The Mystery of the Dark Heart,” NYPD Detective Laura Diamond (Debra Messing) hunts down a dormant serial killer “The Cupid Killer” who’s suspected of resurfacing this Valentine’s Day. A young woman is unknowingly on a date with the devil and if Diamond doesn’t find her before midnight, she’s dead. Diamond is forced to turn to her former boss Captain Dan Hauser, who’s now in prison, for help.
