Ian, the guitar salesman, is portrayed by Josh Groban. This isn’t the singer’s first appearance on TV – that was back in 2001 on the season finale of Ally McBeal. Since then he’s appeared on The Office (Walter Bernard, Jr.), The Crazy Ones (Danny Chase) and as himself on CSI: NY, Parks and Recreation and The Muppets. P.S.
