In the Scorpion episode “Fractured,” in order to save the city of Los Angeles from a powerful earthquake, the team has to figure out a way to fix a pinched gas line. And when they’re not busy doing that, Toby Curtis (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Walter O’Brien (Elyes Gabel) see couples counselor, Dr. Rizzuto.
The couples counselor is portrayed by magician, actor, director Penn Jillette. He’s best known as being the taller half (and voice) of the magic act Penn & Teller. Jillette is now making a big splash in the movie industry. He wrote and starred in the horror movie Director’s Cut which played this week at the Slamdance film festival. Teller plays the bad guy; Missi Plye plays the leading lady. Scorpion airs Mondays at 9pm on CBS.
