On The Real Housewives of Potomac, Charrisse Jackson Jordan gets a visit from her girlfriend Brynee K. Baylor. They’ve known each other for ten years so it’s no surprise that Charrisse feels comfortable in confiding in Brynee. When Charrisse starts talking about her husband, former NBA player Eddie Jordan (now Rutgers University head coach), and how they barely speak to one another, Brynee is there to offer Charrisse comfort.

It’s been a tough year for Brynee, too. The mother of four daughters used to be a lawyer but was disbarred in July 2015. She says she got caught up with a fraudulent client (Frank Pavlico) who had “used my representation and firm like a pawn in a chess match.” Pavlico was accused of defrauding 13 investors of nearly $3 million. When the SEC filed suit against Pavlico and his investment firm, and Baylor and her law firm, she said she “fought as hard as I could for as long as I could” but eventually “consented to disbarment.” According to Law360, a District of Columbia appeals court disbarred her after she “had been found liable for a $2.7 million investment fraud perpetrated by her late client.” The day before Pavlico was to appear in court on fraud charges in South Carolina he committed suicide. The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
