The Amazing Race 28 continues in Cartagena, Colombia, where a popular pastime is playing Tejo. It’s a game played outside, similar to the American game Cornhole. From a good distance you throw objects with the objective of sinking one through a hole on the target. In Cornhole, the object is usually a soft sack. In Tejo, the object is a hard rock.
When Tyler Oakley and his best friend Korey Kuhl play a game of Tejo, Tyler jumps and yells with contagious enthusiasm almost every time a rock hits the target. “I jump at everything,” Tyler happily admits. Korey clarifies — also happily, “He doesn’t just jump, he jumps and screams for no reason.” Tyler’s Tejo performance is similar to acting legend Nathan Lane’s hilarious turn in The Birdcage (watch clip below). The Amazing Race airs Fridays at 8pm on CBS.
