The nominations for the Academy Awards will be announced on Thursday morning, and, as tradition dictates, today the Razzies unveiled the nominees for its answer to Hollywood’s self-congratulatory awards season. The annual Golden Raspberry Awards ceremony (held on the eve of the Oscars) recognizes the worst performances and movies of the year. Razzies favorite Adam Sandler is among the nominees, as are Johnny Depp, Dakota Johnson, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

There are some predictable films up for a Razzie. The critically-derided Fifty Shades of Grey and Mortdecai each secured several nominations. Among the categories are Worst Remake or Sequel: it’s a tight race between Fantastic Four and Alvin and the Chipumnks: The Road Chip. Another one to watch closely is Worst Screen Combo: will it go to “Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, Fifty Shades of Grey” or “Adam Sandler and any pair of shoes, The Cobbler” or “Johnny Depp and his glued-on mustache, Mortdecai“? Sylvester Stallone, Elizabeth Banks, Will Smith, and M. Night Shyamalan are nominated for The Razzie Redeemer Award – “which acknowledges past Razzie ‘winners’ who’ve gone on to do better work.”
