The Biggest Loser is back for its 17th season with eight new pairs of contestants including original Survivor winner Richard Hatch and The Voice Season 2 semifinalist Erin Willett. TBL trainers Dolvett Quince and Jen Widerstrom are back and ready to help the new contestants begin their weight-loss journeys. Who’s not back is host Alison Sweeney. She’s been replaced by Bob Harper.

Harper has appeared on The Biggest Loser before but as a trainer. He memorably came out as gay during the 15th season of the show. Harper also appears on The Biggest Loser DVD workouts. Fun fact about the 50-year-old personal trainer: He appeared in Melissa Etheridge’s 1999 music video “Angels Would Fall” (see below). The Biggest Loser airs Mondays at 9pm on NBC.
