In the Season 5 winter premiere of Suits, lawyers Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) and Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) must figure out how to defend their colleague Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) — despite knowing that he’s guilty of the crime (fraud) he’s accused of committing. Everyone including Mike’s girlfriend Rachel (Meghan Markle) will try to stand by him, but for how long? Louis (Rick Hoffman) is already warning Donna (Sarah Rafferty) to stay away.
The big question is who ratted out Mike? Suits creator and executive producer Aaron Korsh says: “[The writers] had a number of choices and they had various reasoning and backstories … but I think we landed on someone that makes a lot of sense, to me, at least.” Suits airs Wednesdays at 10pm on USA.
