In the new reality TV show Stevie J & Joseline Go Hollywood, the former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta couple tries to make it big in Tinseltown. Stevie J isn’t new to LA – “I had a lot of success in the late 1990s in LA,” he says in the show’s premiere. “This is my second chance. I’m not messing this up.” But his tumultuous relationship with Joseline could interfere. They’re separated but still doing business together. “I’m not going to sit back and not get what belongs to me,” she says.

The show will follow Stevie J in the studio, where he’s working with Diddy and The Hitmen Crew, and in auditions for the movie he’s executive producing. Meanwhile Joseline struggles to find work in LA. When choreographer Laurieann Gibson (Making the Band) comes in to try to help Joseline, Gibson asks Stevie “Have you created your own monster?” (She’s referring to Joseline.) Stevie admits,”I’m Doctor Frankenstein.” Stevie J & Joseline Go Hollywood airs Mondays at 9pm on VH1.
