Muscle Maker Grill is a chain of healthy fast food restaurants founded by fitness enthusiast Rod Silva of New Jersey. He started his company while running a smoothie store in 1995. Twenty years later, Muscle Maker Grill is a successful franchise with 50 restaurants in 11 states. Silva sold the company to American Restaurant Holdings, Inc. in California. In order to learn more about his new company, ARH CEO Tim Betts will go undercover on Undercover Boss. Silva will participate on the show, too, by watching via a live feed and giving Betts commentary.

Now with more time on his hands, Silva, 43, is running for the President of the United States. Health is his main talking point. Silva plans to run as an independent candidate and says he’s close to getting on the ballot in Colorado. He admitted that “He’s not sure how much the campaign is costing him and points out he does not have unlimited funds.” Silva will appear on Undercover Boss with Tim Betts on January 8, 8pm on CBS.
