Keshia Knight Pulliam didn’t suffer the fate of many child stars, who end up down and out in Beverly Hills. Knight Pulliam, widely regarded as the cutest person on TV during the 1980s (and maybe ever) while playing young Rudy on The Cosby Show, has thrived post-stardom. The show she starred on is seen in a very different light than it was just a year ago, before the downfall of its creator Bill Cosby took away all the light from what was once a cheerful, uplifting show — even in its endless reruns, now squashed after the Cosby controversy.
Though she’s had her ups and downs, Knight Pulliam continued to show the bright side of the Cosby galaxy by announcing her engagement yesterday. Now 36, Knight Pulliam is “#blessed beyond measure” to be spending her life with former pro football player Ed Hartwell.
