In the TV movie Just In Time For Christmas, college professor Lindsay Rogers (Eloise Mumford) enjoys a nice life. She enjoys teaching, she’s in love with her longtime boyfriend, coffee shop owner Jason (Michael Stahl-David), and she gets to see her Grandpa Bob often. When she’s offer the chance to teach at an Ivy League school (Yale), she doesn’t know if leaving her sweet but small town life behind is the right thing to do.
Grandpa Bob is portrayed by Christopher Lloyd. The veteran actor has been on many stages, in many films and on several TV shows. He’s most often recognized for his roles on Taxi (Jim Ignatowski) and in Back to the Future (Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown), Addams Family Values (Uncle Fester), and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Taber). Or maybe you recognize his voice as The Hacker on the animated series Cyberchase. Fun fact: Lloyd’s character Jim on Taxi was a huge Star Trek fan. William Shatner aka Captain Kirk of Star Trek plays a magical coachman in Just In Time For Christmas, which will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on December 5 at 8pm.
