Two of actress Sarah Paulson’s most memorable roles are the two-headed girls in American Horror Story: Freak Show. Now she’s filming AHS:Hotel and American Crime Story, the mini-series about the infamous O.J. Simpson case. Paulson portrays prosecutor Marcia Clark. She tells Deadline that switching from Sally on American Horror Story to Marcia is “a very wild, schizophrenic experience.”
Paulson also says she has enormous respect for Clark. “I think she’s an enormously gifted prosecutor, and there’s a lot of things that people wanted to blame her for that I don’t necessarily subscribe to,” Paulson says. Practicing a little method acting, the actress even found out what kind of perfume the prosecutor wore during the trial and she’s now wearing it. American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson will premiere on FX in early 2016.
