Who Is Sir Crispin Crandall on ‘The Blacklist’?

On The Blacklist, while Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) tries to literally fight to help exonerate his ex Liz Keen (Megan Boone), a trusted advisor to the Director (David Strathairn) goes MIA. While Red (James Spader) and Liz try to track the adviser down, they run into Sir Crispin Crandall.

Crandall is portrayed by veteran actor Harris Yulin. He started his acting career on stage (Hamlet in the early 1970s, Claudius in the early 1990s) but is best known for his roles in the films Scarface (Mel Bernstein), Training Day, Rush Hour 2, Bean, and Night Moves (Marty Heller), among others. Millennials may recognize him as Quentin Traver on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Roger Stanton on 24. The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9pm on NBC.
