Director Ware is portrayed by Clifton Davis. He’s best known for his roles on the TV sitcoms That’s My Momma (barber Clifton Curtis) and Amen (Reverend Ruben Gregory). Before becoming an actor, Davis was a songwriter. His most famous song is The Jackson 5’s “Never Say Goodbye.” After becoming an actor, Davis became a minister. He earned a BA in Theology from Oakwood University and a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University. Madam Secretary airs Sundays at 8pm on CBS.
