On Truth Be Told, when their daughter’s favorite chicken at school dies, mixed-faith couple Mitch (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) and Tracy (Vanessa Lachey) struggle to teach her about religion and life’s biggest questions. They’re not the only couple struggling with the big G question – Angie (Bresha Webb) and Russell (Tone Bell) clash over their beliefs, too. Meanwhile, Mitch’s sister Sam shows up with her psychic boyfriend who throws everyone’s ideas for a loop.
Mitch’s sister Sam is portrayed by Ashley Tisdale. The 30-year-old actress is best known for her roles on Hellcats (college cheerleader Savannah Monroe), The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (Maddie Fitzpatrick), and the High School Musical franchise (Sharpay Evans). Or you might recognize Tisdale’s voice as Candace on Phineas and Ferb and/or Sabrina on Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch. Truth Be Told airs Fridays at 8:30pm on ABC.
