Actress Kim Fields (Facts of Life, Living Single) has joined the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta. She said her biggest concern about doing reality TV was her family. She told E! she’s “very very very protective” of her marriage and her parenting. Fields is married to Broadway actor Christopher L. Morgan, and is the mother of their two sons. Her husband and her two boys will appear on the show, too.

Morgan played caretaker Dan Coker in the Atlanta production of the musical ghost story, “Ghost Brothers of Darkland County.” It was written by Stephen King, music and lyrics by John Mellencamp, and musical direction by T Bone Burnett. (It was performed at Atlanta’s Alliance Theater before going to Broadway.) Prior to that, Morgan performed in the US tour of Dreamgirls, in the 1999 Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate, and in a number of Off-Broadway shows, too. Morgan and Fields married in 2007. Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo.
