On Gotham, the villainous Theo Gallavan (James Frain) enlists the political clout of Harvey Dent, the district attorney of Gotham City — and he gets it. (See photo above.) Dent is a good guy trying to rid Gotham of corruption but according to the comics, he’ll eventually turn into the villanious Two-Face and wreck havoc on the city he’s tried so earnestly to protect.

Harvey Dent is portrayed by Nicholas D’Agosto. He got his big break when he was cast in the 1999 Alexander Payne film Election starring Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick, which was filmed in D’Agosto’s home state of Omaha. (Payne graduated from the same high school as D’Agosto.) After graduating from Marquette in 2002, D’Agosto moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. Since then he’s appeared on ER, Six Feet Under, Cold Case, and House M.D., among others. He’s best known for his recurring roles on The Office (Hunter), Heroes (West Rosen), and most recently Masters of Sex (Dr. Ethan Haas). Gotham airs Mondays at 8pm on Fox.
