In the Season 2 premiere of The Royals, Princess Eleanor (Alexandra Park) marches across a polo field – while a match is going on – in order to confront her ex-bodyguard Jasper Frost. She accuses him of stalking her. “I saw you in Paris. I saw you in Spain.” Jasper whips off his sunglasses to give her a good talking to. He expects a thank you as she’s been traveling around the world without security which Jasper eloquently calls “a shit show.” Still, Jasper wants in. “What will it take for you to forgive me?” he asks. Nothing, says Eleanor. Before she walks away, she suggests that he not sleep with his next girlfriend’s mother. (She says that less eloquently.)
Jasper is portrayed by Tom Austen. The 27-year-old actor from Somerset is best known for his roles in the British TV series Unforgotten (Josh Cross), Grantchester (Guy Hopkins), Jo (Bayard), The Borgias (Raffaello), and Beaver Falls (Mac). The Royals airs Sundays at 10pm on E!
