Hillary Clinton chatted with Jimmy Kimmel on late night TV, looking like a relaxed front runner with a sense of humor. Egged on by Kimmel, Clinton expressed some empathy for Jeb Bush’s campaign and talked about how hard it is to run for president.
Kimmel did manage to ask a question a lot of people want to know the answer to: what will Bill Clinton do in a Hillary Clinton White House? Kimmel took the funny route to a serious question, asking Hillary if her husband will pick out a new china pattern — a la Jackie Kennedy. Candidate Clinton kept her answer about his specific role ambiguous, but she did admit the former president would serve her as an adviser. Clinton attached herself to her husband’s economic record, saying she’d ask him “what is the best way to create more jobs and get wages up? because he did a really good job [at that].”
