The rapper 50 Cent is certainly hard to assess. He has demonstrated an ability to keep his personal business a secret, at least for a while. Not long before he filed for bankruptcy, for example, Forbes listed 50 Cent’s net worth as $155 million. Turns out they were off by about, well, all of it. Now comes another rumor about how 50 Cent might differ from his public persona, stirred up by Vivica A. Fox during an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.

Fox was responding to a question about a ratings dip on Empire, last year’s breakout TV melodrama, when she made a statement that got the 50 Cent rumors flying. 50 Cent, who dated Fox a decade ago and who produces a similarly themed show called Power, had implied the Empire downturn was due to its “gay stuff.” Fox responded: “First of all, you know the pot called the kettle black is all I’m saying.” She then added about 50 Cent that “he just seems like he’s got something that’s not quite clear.” Afterwards Fox warned she isn’t worried about blowback from 50 Cent and here’s why:
