On Scorpion, while Sylvester Dodd (Ari Stidham) goes undercover in a federal prison in order to save the lives of three judges, his colleagues Walter O’Brien (Elyes Gabel) and Paige Dineen (Katharine McPhee) visit Ray, Walter’s new friend from his community service assignment. Scorpion executive producer Nick Santora describes Ray: “He’s not a genius – in fact he probably has below average intelligence. He’s odd and a bit ‘off’ but for some reason, Walter learns to like the guy and we get to see Walter O’Brien make a non-genius friend outside of Scorpion. But Ray’s unique approach to life is something Walter and the gang have to adjust to, and that won’t always be that easy to do.”

Ray is portrayed by Kevin Weisman. He’s appeared in a ton of TV shows including The Blacklist, Better Call Saul, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, among others, but he’s best known for his role as Marshall Flinkman on Alias with Jennifer Garner. Scorpion airs Mondays at 9pm on CBS.
